ABOUT
OUR PROGRAM

Welcome to Hollow Valley Kennels & Dog Training! I have been training dogs for over ten years in multiple venues and have attended various dog training seminars and conferences, as well as worked under Happy With Dogs. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology. In 2021, I received my Master of Public Health from the University of Miami as well and received my Master of Business Administration from Florida International University recently. I try to be as involved as I can in my breed communities. Dogs are my passion and I love to spend all of my off time training my personal dogs and competing in various sporting venues.
Logan, my German Shepherd, was my first working dog who taught me everything I know today. He has unfortunately crossed over the rainbow bridge but was excellent in French Ring and AKC sports such as Dock Diving, Fast CAT, and Disc Dog. He is the reason I got into dog training and also the reason why I am continuing. Twilight, my Golden Retriever, shows in AKC conformation with myself as her handler, and is also training in human remains detection. Sega and Velaris are my Beaucerons that I enjoy working in PSA and Conformation. The most recent addition has been Ichigo, my Belgian Malinois. My good friend Kelsey over at Lead Change Working Dogs finally convinced my to join the dark side and jump into the crazy world of the Maligator. And boy do I love it so far. We will be teaming up to breed working Belgian Malinois that excel in both the work and being a loving family member with an off switch.
My breeding program is small and meant to preserve the working ability and health of the Golden Retriever, while also keeping in mind the importance of breed standard, type and temperament. Correct temperament and good health for me in my breeding program will always come first! Dogs that I choose to breed are because overall they are an excellent dog that will contribute positive attributes to the breed. Breeding decisions are also made with the guidance and mentoring from my breeders. Most recently I have decided to team up with Kelsey to breed Belgian Malinois that excel in working venues while still maintaining an off switch. We want our Malinois to be enjoyable to live with. All of our dogs are health tested to OFA standards recommended by their respective breed clubs.
